How the game works
Round one shows you a single color. Repeat it, and round two replays that same color plus a new one. The sequence keeps everything that came before and grows by one color each round.
How scoring works
Your score is the number of rounds you completed — not the number of colors you tapped. A wrong tap on round eight ends the game with a score of seven, because seven rounds were cleared.
What the difficulties mean
Difficulty is how many colors are in play: 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8. Each level is a superset of the one below it, so the four-color game is the classic red, blue, yellow and green. Each difficulty has its own personal best and its own global leaderboard.
The global leaderboard
The board is worldwide and needs no account. Your place on it comes from the Apple Account signed in to your device, so there is nothing to sign up for and no password to remember. Only your personal best per difficulty is kept, which is why you appear once per board rather than once per game.
"Sign in to iCloud to appear on the global board"
This means your device has no Apple Account signed in, so there is no identity to attach a score to. You can still play the whole game and read the board. Sign in from the iOS Settings app and your scores will start posting.
Changing your nickname
Settings → Nickname. Changing it renames your existing scores on the global board, so you do not lose your place. Nicknames are 2–16 characters and are visible to every other player, so pick something you are happy for strangers to see.
I can't tell the colors apart
Settings → Symbols on pads. Every pad gets its own distinct shape — a circle, a square, a triangle and so on — so you never have to separate the pads by hue.
Turning off sound or haptics
Settings → Feedback. Sound and haptics have separate switches, and either can be off without affecting the other.
Resetting your history
Settings → Reset my history clears every game and statistic held on your device. It cannot be undone. Your scores on the global board are not touched — to have those removed, email support@freber.dev with the nickname you played under.
Is it really free?
Yes. There are no ads, no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. Every difficulty and every leaderboard is there from the first launch.
Reporting a nickname
If a nickname on the leaderboard is offensive, email support@freber.dev and it will be removed.
